Styles of Worship

Traditional Worship:
On Sunday at 8am, Luther Memorial Offers a traditional Lutheran Worship service with Liturgies from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship Hymnal. This worship reflects the Lutheran Heritage of classic Hymns, Creeds, Prayers, Scripture, Sermon and Sacraments. All are welcome to attend and celebrate.

Contemporary Worship:
From Labor Day through Memorial Weekend, the second service at Luther Memorial is a contemporary service lead by a praise band featuring: up-beat worship music, a more informal style of liturgy, unique children messages, Biblical and Theologically challenging sermons, Communion – all celebrated during the 2nd worship hour on Sunday morning.

“Come as You are!”:
This 7pm Wednesday night worship is a come as you are, 35 minute service featuring music, prayer, God’s Word, Communion and video clips in the sermons. When the weekend doesn’t work out for worship, Wednesday night works just as well.

Video Worship:
Our two Sunday worship services are recorded and played over the local cable system to over 80,000 potential viewers. The need for audio and video techs, as well as for teleprompter operators and camera folks, is critical to this powerful outreach ministry.
